Our weekly series: Friday Fragrance Find
Like an olfactory reset form all the florals and spice laden perfumes of the 1980’s, The aquatic fragrances emerged in the 90’s and our feature today serves as a pinnacle of most aquatic fragrances: Davidoff Cool Water

Like the calmness of the sea and the gentleness of a breeze wafting through the city promoting tranquility, resetting our focus and calming the mind. That’s the effect this fragrance family brings to our senses.
Launched in 1988 and has since been the houses most renounce fragrance till date. With top notes of sea water and mints tapping into the cool nature of ocean to calm the mind and crisp freshness that reflects the brilliance and restorative power of water.

With soft middle and base notes of herbs, woods and musk this is an easy wear for a bubbly man ( covering a broad age range) who is casual and likes to take things easy.
The main accord of Cool water was so successful that it has emerged one of the most copied perfume themes in modern perfumery.
Playing on the popularity of this success several of its flankers have been released in over 30years of its reign but the most recent flanker that’s markedly different and successful was later assumed to be its revival and The intense version of the fragrance. Evident in its name: Cool Water Intense

With an improvement on sillage and longevity of the original and quite frankly a total updo with a higher concentration, the cool water intense is a sure compliment getter with a decent amount of sweetness.
Like intense hadn’t swayed the new audience enough, the house launched cool water Parfum. We wait to see how well that will perform.
Wrapping up this is an excellent day time wear, or a hit-the-gym kinda fragrance guaranteed to rejuvenate your senses whilst keeping you fresh and crisp smelling.
