Out with the long Hiatus: In with Gorgeous bottle buys!

Hi guys,

It’s been such an awful long time. Pardon my absence I have absolutely no excuse to leave you guys hanging with no prior notification.

I got pretty overwhelmed by some of my pursuits that I literally had to give up blogging to manage my distractions. You know what they say.. social media components can be quite overwhelming.

That said, how have you all been? What has been going on in your little fumisphere or perfumisphere like Some like to coin it. Please do “fill me in” in the comment section.

Today I want to talk about the term “bottle buys”

Just as the name connotes, its when a fragrance is purchased simply for the allure of its bottle. Some designers go above and beyond in crafting the perfect bottles for their fragrances that aims to tell a story and also give a hint of the content inside. Take a look at this

These bottles will dress up your vanity in a fabulous fashion. Some of them even look too fabulous to actually use and prove to be as much a reason to buy as the scents to be spritzed out. Prada offered us this gorgeous piece in 2019 a flanker to the popular Prada Candy.

They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but in the world of perfumes that isn’t always the case. Just look at what Marc Jacobs did with decadence

Having your fragrance resemble a luxurious woman’s purse in emerald color with luxurious python leather details. The opulence it provokes corresponds with the content inside; Sophisticated and enchanting.

While some will rather keep the bottles unassuming with contents that “BLOW” your mind. Some aim at having you sold just at first glance.

Talk about innovative design, beautiful shapes, delicate and fanciful bottles that will glam up your shelves. There’s much more than my gallery could offer. So remember go easy on yourself if you decide to indulge yourself and splurge on a fragrance based on how it looks. It’s just fragrances😊 it’s not that serious! 😘
