Signature Scents 🌸

Today I want to talk about signature scents, depending on your relationship with fragrances whether you are the adventurous one or you like to stick to a personal fave, these term appeals to a lot of people who are well acquainted with fragrances. It’s like having a certain olfactory fingerprint that instantly associates you with your fragrance.

Finding the joy of being attached to a particular scents is not only spectacular it’s liberating too. It’s as though finding that one scents that expresses all of you in all of the manner you choose to reflect your personality.

It’s okay for your signature scents to be more than just one it could be a few on rotation if you are lucky enough to have access to a number of fragrances. It could even be seasonal, some you love to wear on cold days and others when it’s warm for how the accords develop on you with the varying season.

It could even be occasional or those you love to spritz on to events. In all having a signature scents might be beneficial even though being adventurous sounds like more fun. In choosing a signature scents there are few things to look out for.

• It should be a long lasting fragrance
• • It should be versatile having a little bit of everything
• And if you are trying to explore for one, don’t rush it figure out how you like to smell first; Floral, spicy, fresh and woodsy. Narrow down your search to a couple of them.

• If they are many you can choose to sample like three a day before you make your decision.
• Don’t be so quick to smell the coffee and move on to the next take you time if it helps take a walk and return back to the store when you feel you are sure of the smell. Then you can try another scent and so on till you hit what does it for you.

• Ask your fragrance store for miniature bottles, they are relatively cheaper and saves you time as you can wear one per day till you make your judgements.
